The Sunset Experience on Mallorca

Those on holiday in Mallorca usually experience the south of Mallorca like this: In the back the mountains and bays of Mallorca with the historic cathedral of Palma de Mallorca and in front of you the endless blue of the Mediterranean Sea. If you just want to lie on the beach during your holidays, you will certainly be happy on Mallorca. Sunny days are balm for the holiday soul and Mallorca's landscape is impressive from the water. The crescent-shaped mountain range frames Palma and stretches from Playa de Palma in the south across the entire island. Take a boat trip, sail with the catamaran along lonely bays and let the wind blow around your nose. The catamaran offers something for everyone.

The day on the catamaran starts at the impressive marina. Please take your swimsuit, a towel and your sunglasses with you. As you will be exposed to the sun most of the time on deck and in the water, you will definitely need sunscreen! But that's all the preparation you need.

When you arrive in the harbour of El Arenal, you board the large, white sailing catamaran and shortly afterwards it's time to 'cast off'! You leave the harbour and sail along the beautiful south coast of Mallorca in the first part of the sailing excursion. This part of the tour runs along Cala Blava, which is over 5 kilometres long. On board is an experienced tour guide who knows the catamaran and the Mediterranean Sea around Mallorca like the back of his hand. And that's what counts in the south. Because the waters around the island are home to several species of whales and there are only a handful of people who have a good nose for finding dolphins and whales! True, there is no guarantee of seeing the marine mammals. However, the catamaran crew has often been able to track them down in the past.

In the second part of the boat trip with the catamaran, you drop anchor in front of the cliffs of Cala Delta with a view of the small coastal town. Now the leisurely part begins. With a view of the promenade of the small harbour town, it's high time to swim in the bay, relax and get a crispy tan. The best place, by the way, is in the large net directly at the bow. If you relax here, you are floating above the water. The water, which we often describe as crystal clear or crystal clear, is actually one of the cleanest in the world! Then it's back to the El Arenal marina at sunset.
